Chiropractic Approach

My care is built around understanding the full picture. That means listening to your history, assessing how your body moves, and identifying the factors that may be contributing to your symptoms. From there, I’ll recommend a plan that is realistic, practical, and aligned with your goals.

Depending on your needs, your care may include:

  • Chiropractic adjustments.

  • Soft tissue techniques.

  • Exercise rehabilitation.

  • Postural advice.

  • Strength and mobility work.

  • Lifestyle and movement guidance.

I also draw on experience in massage therapy, kinesiology, fitness, and holistic health where appropriate, so your care can be adapted to the bigger picture rather than focused on one area alone.

Conditions we help with

I regularly support people looking for help with:

  • Back pain.

  • Neck pain and stiffness.

  • Headaches associated with tension or posture.

  • Reduced mobility and restriction.

  • Postural strain from work or daily life.

  • Sports-related and everyday movement problems.

  • Ongoing discomfort that has not improved with rest alone.

If you have a concern that affects how you move, work, train, or get through the day, we can assess it and discuss the most appropriate next steps.

Why choose us

Clear, individual care

Choosing a chiropractor is personal. You want someone who listens carefully, explains things clearly, and treats you as a person rather than a condition. That is the standard I bring to every appointment.

Experience across health and movement

With more than 10 years in health, wellness, and fitness, I bring a broad understanding of movement, recovery, and whole-body function to my work. I’ve also worked in multidisciplinary settings, which helps me take a practical and collaborative approach to care.

Calm, friendly, professional

My style is straightforward and reassuring. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, clear about your options, and confident in the plan we build together.

McTimoney Chiropractic

McTimoney Chiropractic is a gentle, precise form of chiropractic care that was developed over 50 years ago. It is taught exclusively at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Oxford, where I trained.

It is well known for its light-touch approach, which makes it suitable for a wide range of patients, including children, adults, and older people.

How McTimoney Chiropractic works

McTimoney Chiropractic uses fast, light adjustments to help improve the alignment and function of the spine and joints. The aim is to reduce mechanical stress, support better movement, and help the body function more efficiently.

Advanced Biostructural Correction (ABC)

Advanced Biostructural Correction, or ABC, is a chiropractic approach that focuses on identifying and correcting areas of structural strain and compensation in the body.

Over time, the body can develop tension, imbalance, and restricted movement patterns. ABC aims to help restore more natural alignment and reduce the compensations that may contribute to pain, stiffness, and postural strain.

How ABC works

ABC works by addressing specific spinal and postural misalignments that the body may not be able to correct on its own. By gradually reducing these areas of stress, the body can begin to move into a more balanced and upright position.

Some people notice improvement quite quickly, while others with more chronic or long-standing problems may need more time. That depends on how much stiffness, compensation, and strain has built up over time, the body compensates over time. These compensations can affect posture, movement, and comfort in different parts of the body. The goal of treatment is to reduce those compensations and support better overall function.

If you are looking for a gentle, structured approach to chiropractic care, McTimoney Chiropractic and ABC may offer a supportive way to improve movement, reduce discomfort, and help your body function more efficiently.

What to expect

Your first appointment is a chance for us to understand what is happening and what might be driving it. We’ll discuss your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, and movement patterns, then carry out an assessment and explain the findings clearly.

You’ll leave with a better understanding of your issue and a clear sense of the next steps. Follow-up visits are then used to review progress, adjust treatment where needed, and keep moving you toward better function and less pain.

FAQs

Do I need to be in pain to book?

No. Some people book because they already have pain, while others want help with posture, mobility, recurring tension, or prevention.

What happens at the first appointment?

We talk through your concerns, assess your movement, and discuss what may be contributing to the problem. Then I’ll explain the findings and outline a treatment plan.

How many sessions will I need?

That depends on your condition, goals, and how your body responds to care. I’ll give you a clearer idea after your initial assessment.

Do you treat sports injuries?

Yes. I work with people who need help with sports-related issues, general movement problems, and rehabilitation support.
